Bushkill Sessions vol. 1: Two Dark Birds

Steve Koester has long been one of my favorite songwriters, with his lovely melodic stylings and keen sense of mystery, so it was only natural to have his band Two Dark Birds be the inaugural session in the barn.

Here is a song called “The Law” in which Steve delves into life’s mysteries with a biblically inspired lyric. The band is fabulous and features Josh Roy Brown, Jason Mills, Tyler Wood, Iris Koester and Mark Lerner.
